METHOD FOR FILLING IMAGE AREA WITHIN CONTINUOUS CONTOUR

PURPOSE: A method for filling inside area of outline is provided to be able to fill area in boundary line at a high speed by tracing boundary line only at once. CONSTITUTION: An outline tracing direction and direction for filling inside part of outline are decided out of method for filling a plurality of a closed area(100). It is judged as to whether a definite point is generated to each outline pixel from a front and a rear outline pixel position of each outline pixel according to each outline pixel position and outline tracing direction against pixel of each outline expressing outline when the definite point is called as pixel expressing a start of filling and an end of filling at each pixel row according to a filling direction. A designated value is filled in memory position corresponding to pixels between the definite points that is generated according to filling direction with moving pixel by pixel to filling direction and opposite direction and then each image area is filled in(114).
