PURPOSE: A monitor operation method and circuit is provided to inform a novice computer user of a voice manual on various functions of the monitor so that it allows the user to operate easily the monitor. CONSTITUTION: A monitor operation circuit comprises a synchronization signal adjustor(30), a micro computer(40), an OSD(On Screen Display) IC(50), and a voice regeneration IC(60). The synchronization signal adjustor(30) adjusts horizontal and vertical synchronization signals input in a synchronization signal input module(20) at a power-on(10). The micro computer(40) transmits the horizontal and vertical synchronization signals to a display(100) via a polarization module(70), and controls the OSD IC(50). The OSD IC(50) transmits a video signal, input by the micro computer(40), to the display(100). The voice regeneration IC(60) outputs the voice manual, selected by the OSD IC(50), to a speaker(60).
