LEAVES EXTRACT OF ACACIA, AND SKIN WHITENING COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A leaves extract of acacia, and a skin whitening cosmetic composition containing same are provided, which shows enzyme activity-inhibition ability for the tyrosinase; suppress melanin production in B16 mouse melanoma cells; and shows good removing ability of radical and inhibition ability of lipid peroxidation. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of leaves extract of acacia comprises of: washing the acacia leaves with pure water; drying and pulverizing; adding 25% ethanol 200g to the dried weight 10g of acacia leaves, and shaking(400rpm) at room temperature for 24hrs with a magnetic stirrer; centrifuging the extract for 10minutes at 5000rpm to separate the supernatant; filtering with a filter(0.45micrometer) to get liquid filtered extract 168g; and concentrating under decompression using an evaporator to get dried extract. The skin whitening cosmetic composition contains the acacia leaves extract 0.1-40wt.%.
