PURPOSE: A method for controlling transfer speed in a facsimile service using the WLL(Wireless Local Loop) system is provided to reduce the transmitting-receiving error in a facsimile service. CONSTITUTION: If a PSTN Fax(90) transmits an analog TCF signal to determine the transfer speed of a data to a BS/MSC/IWF, the BS/MSC/IWF converts the analog TCF signal into a digital form and transmits it to a radio section of the BS/MSC/IWF. An MT2(10) in the BS/MSC/IWF receives the digital TCF signal, converts it into an analog form and transports it to a TE2(80). In this moment, the TCF signal transported to the TE2(80) is transferred with an error due to noise generated while passing through the radio section. Accordingly, the TE2(80) can discriminate whether the present set speed is a receiving possible speed.
