AIR CONDITIONER CONTROL METHOD UPON OCCURRENCE OF FAILURE OF INDOOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

PURPOSE: An air conditioner control method is provided to improve user convenience by arranging an internal system of an air conditioner to continuously perform a cooling operation in accordance with a preset indoor temperature even when a failure occurs at an indoor temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of receiving a sensed signal from an indoor temperature sensor(104) and judging whether the received data indicates an error; a second step of performing a normal operation for cooling in accordance with a difference between the sensed indoor temperature and a preset reference temperature, if the data is judged as normal in the first step; and a third step continuously performing a cooling operation in accordance with a preset temperature, if the data is judged as an error in the first step.
