PURPOSE: A TFT array substrate of LCD and a checking method are provided to check the failure of antistatic elements before assembled, thereby enhancing productivity and reliability. CONSTITUTION: A TFT array substrate of LCD comprises plural signal lines(16) and scan lines(14), at least one switching element(13,37), at least two gate shorting bars(44,45) and data shorting bars(42,43) and antistatic elements(52). The switching element(13,37) are formed on the cross sections of the signal lines(16) and scan lines(14), which are connected by the gate shorting bars(44,45) and the data shorting bars(42,43). The antistatic elements(52) connected to the scan lines are connected to a first line and the antistatic elements(52) connected to the signal lines are connected to a second line. |
