<p>PURPOSE: Disclosed is an apparatus for treating wastewater with intermittent aeration device, defoaming device, and deodorizing device. When an air supplying valve (8) is opened, air is introduced in an air supplying pipe (6) by gushing wastewater by a pump (2). Thereby, mixture of air and water is sprayed into a reactor (1), so the reactor (1) come into aerobic condition. Also, odor supplied from a concentration tank or a dewatering tank is injected into the reactor (1) through the air supplying pipe (6) for deodorization by aerobic microorganisms. When the air supplying valve (8) is closed, the reactor (1) becomes anaerobic condition. The pump (2) is operated continuously, so suspension of solids is maintained. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is characterized by comprising the follow parts: the reactor (1) equipped with the pump (2); a pipe (4) equipped with the pump (2); an ejector (5) equipped with the air supplying pipe (6); a main pipe (7) for supplying air equipped with the air supplying pipe (6); an air supplying valve (8), which is opened or closed automatically, equipped with the main pipe (7) for supplying air; and a pipe (23) for supplying odor from the concentration tank or the dewatering tank. The apparatus reduces operation cost by not installing additional defoaming or deodorizing devices.</p> |
