LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided to insert current controllers for enhancing the safety of the battery between an anode plate and a cathode plate. CONSTITUTION: A lithium secondary battery comprises an anode plate(21), a cathode plate(22) and a separator(23) inserted between the anode plate and the cathode plate. The anode plate(21) and the cathode plate(22) have an anode sheet consisted in anode active substance and a cathode sheet consisted in cathode active substance, respectively. Current controllers(200,210) for shielding current under the temperature over predetermined temperature are inserted between the anode plate and the cathode plate. It is preferable that the current controllers are respectively attached to outer surfaces of the anode and cathode sheets.
