METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING TRAFFIC FRAME OF BASE STATION USING BACKHAUL DELAY

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a traffic frame of a base station using a backhaul delay, is provided to calculate a backhaul delay between a base station and a control station, and to correct a transmitting time from the control station to the base station if a calculated value is over a permissible level, so as to smoothly perform a call service regardless of the distance between the base station and the control station. CONSTITUTION: A call control processor(CCP) of a control station delivers a MSG-VS-TC-CS to a TSB. When the TSB delivers a time synchronous frame to a cell element(CE), the CE stores a present synchronization time value in the time synchronous frame and delivers the frame. The TSB stores a received synchronization time value in a backhaul request message and re-delivers the message to the CE. The CE compares the synchronous time value returned from the TSB with a present time synchronization time, and divides a difference between the compared values by two to obtain a backhaul delay value. The backhaul delay value is loaded on a backhaul response message, and delivered to the TSB. The TSB compares the backhaul delay value delivered from the CE with a permissible level. If the backhaul delay value is over the permissible level, a 20ms reference time is advanced as much as an exceeded time.
