A DVD (digital video disc) reproducing apparatus enables seamless images at a plurality of angles recorded on a DVD to simultaneously be watched or instantaneously be watched even if the images are switched. To this end, a frame memory (14) of the DVD reproducing apparatus has a display data storage region (14a) having nine storage regions corresponding to nine different images, for example images at nine angles to be displayed, a first decoded data storage region (14b) and a second decoded data storage region in which decoded I pictures and P pictures, that is decoded image data items, are stored.
