The invented compound 5-(2-ethyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-1-methyl-pyridine according to the formula (I) improves cognitive efficiency and moderates reduction of cholinergic neurons induced by lesion in models of traumatic lesion of brain and is therefore usable for preparing a pharmaceutical preparation for treating traumatic lesion of brain.
