PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to manufacture a plasma display panel with a high resolution by preventing the pollution of a protection layer and the insulation destruction of a dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises the steps of: forming a protection layer(200) on a substrate(100) of a plasma display panel formed with an electrode and a dielectric layer; forming a barium activation layer(300) on the protection layer; and discharging the plasma display panel formed with the barium activation layer and performing an aging process. The barium activation layer has a thickness of 10 to 1000 angstrom. The barium activation layer is formed with BaO. The aging process is performed during 24 to 48 hours. |
