SUBSCRIBER LOOP CURRENT CONTROL APPARATUS OF WLL TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A subscriber loop current control apparatus of a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) terminal is provided to minimize the size of a battery and to reduce the capacity of the battery by increasing the usage time of the backup battery for a WLL terminal. CONSTITUTION: An MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(1) having a power control terminal, a detection terminal and an SLIC operation terminal controls power supply to an SLIC(Subscriber Line Interface Circuit)(3) and detects the status of the SLIC(3). The MSM(1) is connected with an RF module(5) and transfers signals by wireless. The SLIC(3) connected to a subscriber(4) detects subscriber status and reports it to the MSM(1). A codec(2) converts digital signals into analog signals or analog signals into digital signals. A transistor(Q1) connected to the power control terminal of the MSM(1) is turned on or off according to an active or inactive state to switch power supply to the SLIC(3).
