PURPOSE: A surface processing method of an ink-transfer roller is provided to clearly and regularly print with a sufficient amount of ink and high uniformity. CONSTITUTION: A rubber roll is polished with a polishing stone. The polishing stone is compressed and rotated on the roll while rotating the rubber roll. At the same time, the roll is transferred to a shaft of the roll and an evenness portion of a wave shape is formed on the surface of the roll. A rotary cylindrical cutter forming a 1 to 3mm knife blade is rotated and reciprocated in the shaft direction of the roll while rotating the roll. Then, a circumferential groove is formed.
