PURPOSE: A duct noise reduction device is provided to effectively reduce noise by installing a separator panel within a duct so as to form two passages. CONSTITUTION: A device is characterized in that a separator panel(22) is installed within a duct(20) so as to form two passages including a first passage of which cross sectional area decreases according to the lengthwise direction of the separator panel and a second passage of which cross sectional area increases according to the lengthwise direction of the separator panel. When acoustic waves pass through the two passages, respectively, phases of the acoustic waves turn into the state opposite to each other. Then, the acoustic waves having opposite phases meet at an end of the separator panel and are offset.
