FLAT PANEL DISPLAY(FPD) AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An FPD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to search scale-up of FPD by reinforcing the fixed state of a spacer through a simplified process. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of forming an intermediate layer(13) into a predetermined pattern onto a non-display area of an FPD plate(3), disposing a plurality of spacers(15) onto the intermediate layer, heating the plate at a temperature lower than a softening point of the plate, and supplying a voltage so as to allow a current to flow between the intermediate layer and the spacer. Then, the spacer is fixed onto the plate.
