PURPOSE: A surface message displaying apparatus is provided to advertise without spatial limitation by using a sidewalk or road surface or a bottom surface of a building as an advertisement medium. CONSTITUTION: A surface message displaying apparatus is installed in a receiving portion which is depressed from a surface, and comprises a support portion, a message display portion, and a power supply. The support portion is flatly installed in the receiving portion, and the message display portion is set on the support portion so as to display a message. The power supply supplies a power to the message display portion, and consists of a rectifier and an inverter. A protection layer of a transparent matter is stacked on the message display portion so as to prevent the message display portion from being damaged by external impact.
