PURPOSE: A light emitting automobile license plate is provided to reduce many kinds of car accidents such as hit-and-run accidents, and to present alarm function during emergency. CONSTITUTION: The light emitting automobile license plate is comprised of a display plate(4) in which a plate number is holed(5); electro luminescence plate(4) at the rear side of the display plate; transparent polycarbonate(6,7) on both sides of the display plate and the EL plate for coating, bonding and installing inside; and a fixing plate(2) that is fixated by a bolt(13) for bonding the transparent polycarbonate(6,7). The EL plate is turned on at the same time of turning on tail lights, and turned off at the time of operating an emergency switch that is installed in an inverter and inside of the automobile.
