PURPOSE: A handle of a cap tilting control lever for a truck is provided to protect a worker from injury and to improve the external appearance of a truck by avoiding protrusion of a handle of a control lever output of a cap. CONSTITUTION: A safety hook assembly(20) is installed on the rear face of a cap(10) of a truck. A link assembly(30) is installed on the outer face of the safety hook assembly. A hook handle assembly(40) having a control lever(42) is connected to the link assembly. A handle(52) is installed at the end of the control lever to be rotatable via a hinge shaft(51). A stopper restraining upward movement of the handle is attached on the upper face of the hinge shaft. A pin-shaped stopper is rotatably formed on the lower face of the hinge shaft. For operating a cap tilting apparatus, the handle is unfolded and sustained in the unfolded state by fitting a protrusion of the pin-shaped stopper into a groove. Upon rotating the control lever, the cap is tilted forwardly. After the cap is untilted, the handle is folded in the cap by rotating after taking out the stopper from the groove. As the handle is foldable in the cap, a worker freely works and external appearance of a truck is improved.
