REFLECTIVE THIN FILM TRANSISTOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A reflective thin film transistor liquid crystal display is to prevent an electrical circuit short between a reflective layer and a drain terminal by mostly contacting the reflective layer and the drain terminal. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal injected between a front and rear glass substrate which are disposed in parallel. A polarizing plate, a color filter, and a transparent electrode are disposed on the front glass substrate. Passivation are arranged on a thin film transistor in a dotted pattern at a desired interval. One of the passivation is positioned in such a way that a source terminal(S) or a drain terminal(D) is exposed. A reflective layer(46) is disposed on the passivation corresponding to each pixel of the color filter to connect the reflective layer with the source drain or the drain terminal. A size of the passivation is provided in such a way that an incident light is diffused from the reflective layer.
