METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DECODING OF MULTIPLE CAPTION BROADCASTING

PURPOSE: A method for controlling decoding of a multiple caption broadcasting is provided to decode more than two caption data simultaneously by using a multiple routine. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling decoding of a multiple caption broadcasting includes following steps. At first, caption data for all caption broadcasting specifications is extracted from an image signal. Then, the type of caption broadcasting caption code for the extracted caption data is determined. The caption decoding corresponding to the caption broadcasting is executed based on the determined result of the step. The decoded signal at the step is mixed with an image processed signal and the result is displayed.
