SECONDARY LITHIUM BATTERY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A secondary lithium battery and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the safety of a battery by forming a coating layer on an outer surface of an electrode plate. CONSTITUTION: A secondary lithium battery comprises a positive electrode pantograph(31), a positive electrode, a negative electrode pantograph(33), a negative electrode, and a separator(23). The positive electrode comprises a positive electrode sheet adhered on one face of the positive pantograph. The negative electrode comprises a negative electrode sheet adhered on one face of the negative pantograph. A method for manufacturing the same comprises the steps of: preparing a positive and a negative electrode pantograph; manufacturing a positive electrode and a negative electrode by adhering a positive sheet and a negative sheet on the positive and the negative electrode pantographs; applying a coating layer(35,36) on a positive electrode plate(21) and a negative electrode plate(22); drying the coating layer; and adhering the coating layer on the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
