A number of contact elements (8) arranged in a contact chamber (10) have spring arms (13) with an embossed contour and are arranged with mirror symmetry. The spring arms are formed so that there is a space between contact elements inserted in a contact chamber and the walls of the contact chamber. The spring arms are deflected by insertion of a contact pin in the contact elements, that they abut the walls of the contact chamber.
