PURPOSE: A vehicle image information compressing device using a wavelet transformation is provided to compress a vehicle's image information by using a wavelet transformation, store an image data into a flash memory, and to transmit the image data to a remote position. CONSTITUTION: A photographing part(100) picks up vehicle image running on a road, and outputs a digital vehicle image data. A vehicle detection computer receives a digital vehicle image data from the photographing part, detects a traffic information when occurring event caused by an input program, and determines a wavelet transformation conversion according to a checked result. A compressing part performs a compressing process by means of a wavelet transformation conversion, A storage part stores a compressed image information data therein. A communication part(500) transmits the compressed image information data or a block data stored in the storage part to a remote position. Thereby, the vehicle image information compressing device stores an image data into a flash memory(400), and transmits the image data to a remote position. |
