PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel using high frequency is provided to prevent nonuniformity of wall charges in address period, by forming uniform wall charge quantity. CONSTITUTION: The method for driving a plasma display panel using high frequency divides address discharge period for selecting a discharge cell formed in the panel into at least two period, and gradually lowers a scanning voltage provided to each period. The address discharge is generated by a difference between the scanning voltage provided to the scanning electrode lines formed in the panel and the data voltage provided to address electrode lines. Thereby, the method prevents unevenness of wall charges in address period. |
