PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to increase driving voltage margin of the panel to secure stabilized operation characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a rear substrate(50), a plurality of stripe-shaped partition walls(43) formed on the rear substrate, the partition wall defining a discharging space, and a plurality of fluorescent layers(47) formed between the partition walls having a predetermined interval on the rear substrate. The rear substrate forms the discharge space together with a front substrate(46) opposite thereto. The rear substrate further includes an address electrode(41) formed thereon, the address electrode being buried with a first dielectric layer(42). The partition walls are formed on this first dielectric layer and parallel with the address electrode. A scanning electrode(44a) and common electrode(45a), perpendicular to the address electrode, are formed on the bottom of the front substrate, to be grounded with metal electrodes(44b,45b), occurring initial discharge. |
