METHOD FOR COLLECTING SYSTEM LOAD STATUS MONITORING AND ALARMING DATA USING COMMON MEMORY

PURPOSE: A method for collecting system load status monitoring and alarming data using a common memory is provided to monitor the load status of a system in real time and to generate alarms using a common memory between a processor collecting system resource information and a processor generating alarm data. CONSTITUTION: A system resource information collection processor reads the alarm grade thresholds of system load status in a specific file of a common memory. The processor drives a timer and obtains system resource information by periodical system calling. The processor records the system resource information in the common memory periodically and compares it with load alarm grade conditions to monitor system load status. As a result, if the system resource information is more than an associated load alarm grade threshold, the processor records the load alarm grade in the common memory. A graphic operator interface function processor accesses the common memory periodically and provides system information and load alarm grades to the operator in real time.
