BATTERY CHARGING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD OF BATTERY CHARGE

PURPOSE: A battery charging device and a control method of battery charge are provided to decrease the size and price of the charging device and simultaneously charge plural batteries using one source power supply. CONSTITUTION: A battery charging device comprises two pockets(A,B), a controller(46), a voltage regulator(34), a current regulator(32) and a power supply controller(40). The batteries are inserted into the pockets(A,B). The controller(46) detects the kinds and capacitance of the batteries to output control signals for setting charge current and voltage corresponding the kinds and capacitance. The voltage regulator(34) and the current regulator(32) receives the control signals to regulate the charge voltage and current to levels corresponding to the battery kinds and capacitance.
