PURPOSE: A book holder is provided to let easy reading and explaining while holding a book by maintaining a book in open state without closure. CONSTITUTION: A book is fixed by a plier(42). Both sides of an open book are supported on a second body(50) and a third body(50') perpendicularly folded along a first body(41). The second and third bodies have holding grooves(84) to easily hold holding units(83). The holding units are adhered to the bodies by a gap(85). The open upper face of an open page is pressurized by pressurizing members(60). Thereby, the page is not turned over unless the page is turned over artificially.
