PAD FOR USE IN A SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE

PURPOSE: A pad of a semiconductor device is provided to reduce signal loss by forming an n+ active region and an n-well at a lower part of a pad and forming a p+ pickup around the pad. CONSTITUTION: A pad of a semiconductor device comprises an n-well(22), which is formed at a center of a p-type semiconductor substrate(20). A n+ active region(30) is formed in the n-well(22) and is spaced apart from an edge of the n-well(22). P-wells(21) are formed at both sides of the n-well(22), and a metal wire(23) is connected to the n+ active region(30). A p+ pickup(29) is formed in the p-well(21) and is spaced apart from the n-well(22).
