<p>PURPOSE: A simulation method for radio network performance analysis is provided to estimate radio environments and to optimize system variables by simulating actual radio network environments on the computer. CONSTITUTION: If a specific region is determined, a simulation preprocessing procedure is carried out(301). Environment variables are set up, an object for simulation is defined and call generation conditions are determined according to the simulation object(302). Then, it is analyzed whether set simulation conditions are satisfied(304). If the set simulation conditions are not satisfied, call generation, capacity analysis and service domain analysis for all base stations are carried out(304-307). Fading processing, quality of call, hand-off, power control, call loss processing and location movement for each call are analyzed to appraise the quality of each call(308-312).</p> |
