PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display, a picture display device, and a portable computer using the same are provided to reduce an impact applied to a liquid crystal display by using an adhering member. CONSTITUTION: A picture display device comprises a liquid crystal display(200) having a valid screen portion, a display box for receiving the liquid crystal display, and an adhering member(300). A liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal panel, a drive circuit, an optical induction element, a first support frame, and a second support frame. The first support frame comprises an adhering area. A portable computer using the same comprises a main body having a keyboard and a CPU, a signal connection member for transmitting a signal, a liquid crystal display, a display box, and an adhering member.
