The equipment processes thermoplastics. It has a vessel with charging opening and an outlet leading to an extruder having a filling opening in the end face or in the side casing. In the vessel (2) a first screw (7, 8) with core (7) and screw spiral (8) is arranged within a second hollow screw (4) fastened to a hollow screw casing (2). Both screws can be rotated. They convey the material to the outlet of the vessel, and in approaching the exit, the empty space between the screws decreases. Also claimed is a plant using the equipment described, and connected to an extruder screw. |
