PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly concentrated microparticle carrier having high catalytic activity by making a highly concentrated microparticle-dispersed composite. SOLUTION: This method for producing highly concentrated microparticle carrier 20 comprises the following steps: dissolving a composite 10 where metallic microparticles 9 and/or microparticles 9 of a metal oxide are dispersed in a matrix material, in an alcohol-based solvent; making a microparticle- dispersed composite 15 where a matrix 13a not binding to the microparticles 9 is removed and the microparticles 9 concentrated; dissolving the thus obtained composite 15 in a solvent into a microparticle dispersion; and then putting a carrier 19 into this dispersion and adsorbing the microparticles 9 to the carrier 19 via a matrix 13b bound to the microparticles.
