The invention relates to a controlling mechanism (1) for adjusting and winding up a mechanical clockwork. Said mechanism (1) comprises a winding stem (2) that is arranged at a level of said clockwork and can be pivoted around the shaft of said stem (2) and can be displaced in the direction of the shaft. The inventive mechanism also comprises a toothed wheel (12) that is coupled to the pivoting movement of the winding stem. The controlling mechanism (1) is provided with an interaction means (10/11/13/15/16) for translating the movement (P1, P2) of the winding stem (2) into a movement (P3, P6) of the toothed wheel (12) in the direction of the shaft thereof. The toothed wheel (12) is coupled to different clockwork functions by said axial displacement. |
