PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous ink which, when usd for writing on a thermosensitive paper, gives hardly discolorable written lines and which does not erase written lines on a pressure-sensitive paper by at least incorporating a water-soluble organic substance satisfying a specific relation between the inorganic valve and the organic value, a colorant and water into the same. SOLUTION: The inorganic and organic values of the water-soluble organic substance satisfy the relation represented by the inequality: (inorganic value)>(organic value)×1.38+181. Examples of the substance are glyceral, sorbitan, glucose, sorbitol and maltose. The amount of it used is preferably 2-40 wt.% of the aqueous ink. A dye, a pigment, a fluorescent pigment prepared by coloring resin particles with a dye, or the like, are used as the colorant. The amount of the colorant is preferably 0.01-20 wt.% in the case of a dye; 0.1-20 wt.% in the case of a pigment; and 1-50 wt.% in the case of a fluorescent pigment. Water is used as the main solvent, preferably in an amount of 20-90 wt.%. If necessary, a wetting agent, an antiseptic, a rust preventive, or the like, can be incorporated.
|
