PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-making apparatus for a packaging box and a box- making method therefor, capable of making a packaging box having a cylindrical reinforcing member in the interior thereof in simple process. SOLUTION: Two sheets of an inner blank 4 are folded to make a cylindrical reinforcing member formed into a cross shape with a width in section and, further, glue is applied to the outer side of four outer faces of the cylindrical reinforcing member with gluing units 22. The cylindrical reinforcing member thus glued is inserted into a corrugated board box whose upper portion is opened and, under this condition, the four outer faces of the cylindrical reinforcing member are pushed out to the inner face side of the corrugated board box by the stroke operation of four air cylinders, thereby adhering the four outer faces of the cylindrical reinforcing member to the inner face side of the corrugated board box. By this method, the cylindrical reinforcing member is adhered to the inner face of the corrugated board box and, further, inside corner parts of the cylindrical member are spread linearly. As a result, an octagon-shaped cylindrical reinforcing member is formed in the interior of the corrugated board box. |
