PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an uniform cooling without exchanging a spraying device and, shorten the time for a change, save the labor for obtaining an improvement of productivity by moving the spraying device as a whole in a vertical direction against a billet, when the billet size is changed, so as to keep a distance from the billet to a nozzle all the same on four billet surfaces. SOLUTION: This invention is referred to a spray cooling device of a billet continuous casting facility wherein four spray nozzle 12 being mounted to a cooling water supplying pipe 11 of a spray device 5 are arranged at the same distance against a billet 13 center and with the equal central angle intervals around the billet 13. Spraying device frames 6 of the spray device 5 are connected on a bottom face of a mold 1 with fastening bolts 7 at two positions and pins 9 at two positions. A bolt penetration hole being formed on the frames 6 for insertion of the fastening bolts 7, and a pin hole 8 for inserting the pin 9 are made to be long holes extending in a vertical direction against the billet.
