PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective 'hand-free' access device for a vehicle capable of solving various disadvantages, improving the safety with simple structure. SOLUTION: This hand-free access device comprises a central control unit 1 mounted on a vehicle V, capable of controlling a locking means to lock opening/closing parts 6, 7, 8 of the vehicle V and provided with a discriminating means, and at least one of discriminating parts 9, 10 held by a user, capable of controlling the locking means, and implementing the remote transmission/ reception of the data to/from the discriminating means. When the discriminating means distinguishes the discrimination part 9, the discriminating means transmits the locking signal, and then, transmits the questioning signal into a cabin H of the vehicle V, and receives the 'presence signal' from the discrimination part 10 present in the cabin H. When the 'presence' signal is received by the discriminating means, the discriminating means transmits the invalid signal which is received by the discrimination part 10 present in the cabin H and stored in its memory to the cabin H.
