PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of dusts in a pyrolysis gas duct for guiding a pyrolysis gas generated in a carbonization pyrolysis drum. SOLUTION: In this carbonization pyrolysis melting combustion apparatus for waste, wastes undergo carbonization pyrolysis in a pyrolysis drum to generate a pyrolysis gas G and the pyrolysis residue D, which are separated by a separator 4, and the pyrolysis gas thus separated is guided to a melting combustion apparatus through a pyrolysis gas duct 5. The separator 4 is constituted of a casing 25, which has a paralysis gas outlet 25e at an upper part thereof and a pyrolysis residue outlet 25f at a lower part thereof with the inside thereof formed in a separation chamber 25d, and a separation plate 26 which is arranged in the separation chamber 25d and makes the pyrolysis gas G discharged into the separation chamber 25 from the pyrolysis drum hit it to separate dusts therein, while the pyrolysis gas G is bypassed into the separation chamber 25d to be guided to the pyrolysis gas outlet 25e.
