PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transfer system which enables a crew to utilize information for indicating a current position of a vehicle of a on- vehicle navigation device when the vehicle is parked and the crew is outside the vehicle. SOLUTION: When an ignition switch is operated from ON to OFF and a vehicle is parked, parking position information is generated from a current vehicle position obtained by a navigation device 12 and transmitted to a parking position information transfer device 14. When a personal information terminal (PDA) 24 transmits to a reception standby mode, the parking position information transfer device 14 transmits (or transfers) the parking position information to the PDA 24. Thus, when a crew leaves the vehicle and does not know the parking position of his own vehicle, he can get back to the vehicle by displaying the parking position information to a display of the PDA 24. Also, whether the parking position information is displayed or not, when the crew returns to his vehicle and parking is released, the parking position information stored in the PDA 24 is erased. |
