PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the ink jet printer for register adapting an ink jet printing head to receipt paper to enable high speed printing of receipt printing data with high image quality, reduced in noise and capable of certainly and easily performing the replacement of an ink cassette. SOLUTION: A guide rod 31, a carrier 32, an ink jet printing head 40, an ink cassette 45 and a paper feed device 50 are provided to a printer main body 21 and the ink cassette 45 is formed so as to be replaceable with respect to the carrier 32 and a preparatory ink cassette housing part 21A capable of housing a preparatory ink cassette 45S is formed to a part of the printer main body 21. |
