PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shielding device and an electromagnetic shielding room, both of which have sufficient shielding effects. SOLUTION: Clearance sections and/or holes of an electromagnetic shielding device and an electromagnetic shielding room are covered with electromagnetic wave absorbers 5. For example, an electromagnetic shielding device provided with a shielding panel 44, having at least one opening, is provided with a hollow conductive pipe-like section 42, which surrounds the opening with metallic plates 43A and 43B in a pipe-like state and is extended in the direction in which the section 42 is protruded from the panel 44, a conductive plate which interrupts the electromagnetic waves which tend to pass through the cylindrical body of the section 42, and the electromagnetic wave absorbers 5 arranged on the cylindrical section 42 and/or the conductive plate.
