PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor enclosure device which can prevent entering of water into an enclosure body, and accordingly, can prevent adverse effects of the water on electronic equipment, etc. SOLUTION: An outdoor enclosure body 1 is constituted by putting two enclosure components 2 and 3 together, and the enclosure body 1 is covered with a sun shade 4 so that a space 21 communicating with the atmosphere is formed between the enclosure body 1 and sun shade 4, in such a way that the inside of the enclosure 1 communicates with the space 21 through a vent hole 9. Drain holes 15A and 15B are made through the sun shade 4 and a sun shade-side dewatering rib 17 is put on an enclosure-side dewatering rib 13, so as to form a protective wall for blocking the rain water blown into the space 21 through the drain holes 15A and 15B. The vent hole 9 is covered with an air-permeable protective film 10.
