PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate uneven streaks due to grille twisting by setting an extensive frequency small and to provide a color cathode-ray tube capable of converging a screen function early. SOLUTION: In this color cathode-ray tube, the end on the fixed side of a spring 6 is partitioned by a first bend part 61 and the end formed with a fit hole 60 is partitioned by a second bend part 62 that is bent in the direction opposed to the first bend part 61. In the middle area partitioned by the first and second bend parts 61 and 62, a rectangular flap 64 is formed by a U-shaped notch 63. The flap 64 is cut and erected at about 30 deg. in the direction opposed to the first bend part 61 along the line connecting the start and the end of the notch 63 and is bent in the middle at about 70 deg. in the same direction as the first bend part 61. The flap 64 thus formed is configured of a vibration suppressing mechanism in the middle area of the plate of a resilient support 6 by bringing the notch 63 into a point contact with two cut sides sectional face of the flap 64.
