PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission joint simple in constitution, and inexpensive in joint production cost, and eliminating an expensive electronic control device. SOLUTION: A speed sensing torque joint mechanism 240 is provided which is used to transmit torque from a ring gear 212 to a planetary differential assembly. The assembly transfers torque proportional to the speed difference between a ring gear subassembly and a planetary gear set subassembly. A differential gear case assembly 222 is divided into two main pieces 214, and a speed sensing mechanism 250 is fitted between these pieces 214. Since a torque transmission joint assembly does not need a center differential in a transfer case, that is, an axle differential, the complication of a drive line and a cost can be reduced by necessitating no another torque joint in the transfer case, or in a series of the drive line.
