<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air washer whose length in the air flow direction of air current is shortened and with which the supplemental quantity of pure water can be lessened. SOLUTION: This air washer is provided with a main body casing 12 having an air inlet 12a and an air outlet 12b and forming a water spraying chamber 13, an extreme upstream washer medium 14 positioned in the air inlet 12a, an extreme downstream washer medium 15 positioned in the extreme downstream side of the water spraying chamber 13, a spraying nozzle 16 positioned in the downstream side of the extreme upstream washer medium 14 in the water spraying chamber 13, and a cooling coil 30 positioned in the downstream side of the extreme downstream washer medium 15. Heat exchange fins of the cooling coil 30 have a corrugated heat transfer faces along the air flow direction or slit parts penetrating the air flow direction.</p> |
