PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive plate for a vehicle to reduce deformation of the damping piece mounting surface of a web part as much as possible and prevent lowering of the function of a damping piece and prevent the occurrence of cracks in the vicinity of the damping piece mounting surface. SOLUTION: A torque converter mounting part 11 is molded of a metallic sheet and consists of a disc-form web part 10 and an annular rim part 20 formed, by bending the outer peripheral end part of the web part 10 to one side surface side, a ring gear 30 engaged with a starter gear is situated at the outer peripheral part of the rim part 20, and torque converter mounting parts 11 are formed closer to an outer peripheral part than the intermediate part of the web part 10 with a distance in a peripheral direction therebetween. Furthermore, a crank shaft mounting part 12 is formed in the vicinity of the central part of the web part 10 with a distance in the peripheral direction therebetween. A damping piece 40 is mounted in the vicinity of the ring gear 30 with its being positioned between the ring gear 30 and the torque converter mounting part 11. A stepped part 14 is former between the damping piece mounting surface 41 of the damping piece 40 and the torque converter mounting part 11.
