PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly enhance a drop-off preventing function of a battery and prevent a secondary accident from occurring due to jumping-out of the battery by preventing a clamp bolt for fastening and fixing the battery from coming off from a locking fixture even if a vehicle such as a truck and mounted with the battery exposed on the side of the truck having a collision in the longitudinal direction, and secure the power source of the vehicle right after the collision without increasing the number of part items, parts strength and vehicle weight. SOLUTION: In this battery mounting device, a second bent-locking part 6b is formed on the tip end 6c side of a clamp bolt 6 apart from a first bent- locking part 6a, the first bent-locking part 6a is locked on a locking hardware 11 integral with a bracket 3 when normally clamped and the second bent-locking part 6b is locked on the locking fixture 11 for preventing a battery 4 from dropping off when the first bent-locking part 6a is deformed and locking on the locking fixture 11 is released.
