METHOD FOR FORMING SCATTERING LAYER FOR FLAT DISPLAY USING OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE

PURPOSE: A method for forming a scattering layer for flay display using an optical waveguide is provided to improve the productivity by manufacturing easily a high efficient scattering layer. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a scattering layer for flay display using an optical waveguide comprises the steps of: pulverizing a glass to form powder; mixing the glass powder(26) with an adhering agent(28) of a transparent material; applying the glass powder and the mixed material on an inner face of an upper substrate of an optical waveguide display(30); hardening the mixed material(32) applied on the inner face of the upper substrate of the optical waveguide display; and polishing a surface of the hardened mixed material and flattening the surface.
